Shafts and impellers are made from structural composites, which are stronger than metal alloys and resistant to acids, caustics and organic solvents. SX is an attractive alternate to high alloys such as Hastelloy or titanium.
Shafts and impellers are lighter in weight than metal alloys; permit use of longer shaft lengths, allowing greater flexibility in impeller positioning
